How do I download a copy of my data?

A free, full export of everything we have on you — usually within minutes.

You have the right to a copy of the data we hold about you. We handle these requests manually so we can verify it's really you and put together a clean, readable archive.

1. Contact support from the email address attached to your account. 2. Use the subject "Data export request" . 3. We'll reply within one business day to confirm. 4. Your archive is ready within 30 days (typically much faster).

- Profile — username, display name, email, account creation date. - Games — every game you've played, in PGN format. - Puzzles — every puzzle attempt with results and ratings. - Stats — your rating history and achievements. - Subscription — Stripe invoice references for your records. - Settings — your preferences and notification choices.

Games are exported as standard .pgn files, so they open in any chess tool (Chess.com, Lichess, ChessBase, SCID).

If all you need is your game archive in PGN form, say so in the request — we can usually send that within a few hours.

If you're in the EU, UK, or California (or anywhere with similar rules), you also have the right to:

- See what we store about you (the archive above) - Correct anything that's wrong - Delete your account and data (see How do I delete my account?) - Object to processing for marketing

For any of these, the same support email works. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
