How do I report a bug or a player I think is cheating?
Two short forms, both monitored by a real human within one business day.
How do I report a bug or a player I think is cheating?
We take both seriously and read every report.
The fastest way is the built-in feedback panel:
1. Right-click anywhere on the page (or long-press on mobile) to open the feedback panel. 2. Pick Bug . 3. Describe what happened — what you did, what you expected, what you saw. 4. Submit.
We capture the page you were on and your browser/device automatically, so you don't have to include those.
If the page won't load at all, email support@endgamesociety.com instead with a screenshot and what you were trying to do.
- Steps to reproduce — "click X, then Y, then Z" - What you expected — "the move should have been accepted" - What actually happened — "the board froze and showed a spinner" - Browser and device — only if you remember; we capture this automatically
Same panel — pick Feature instead. We genuinely read every request and use them to prioritize the roadmap.
If you believe a player is using engine assistance or violating fair-play rules:
1. Note the opponent's username and the date/time of the game. 2. Email support@endgamesociety.com with the subject "Player report" . 3. Include the game from Game History — copy the URL of the replay page. 4. Briefly explain what made you suspicious (move quality, time use, pattern across games).
We investigate every player report manually. Outcomes range from a warning to a permanent ban, depending on the evidence. We don't share the outcome publicly to protect everyone involved.
The Endgame Society help center covers accounts, memberships, ratings, gameplay, and troubleshooting. If an article does not answer your question, our team replies to support tickets directly.
