Why isn't my puzzle streak counting?
The five reasons a streak resets — and how to keep it alive.
A streak counts the number of consecutive days you've solved at least one puzzle. If yours seems off, it's almost always one of these reasons.
Rule Detail --- --- One puzzle per day is enough to extend your streak. Days reset at midnight in your local timezone. Missing a day ends the streak — the next solve starts a new one at 1.
A puzzle solved at 12:01am counts for the new day, not the previous one. If you solved one yesterday at 11:30pm and another today at 12:30am, your streak counts both days — but if you only solved at 12:01am, yesterday is gone.
Streaks are tied to your account , not the device. Make sure you're signed in as the same user that solved yesterday's puzzle. If you have two accounts, only one streak is being tracked.
If you travelled or changed device timezone, the "day" boundary shifts. The streak is calculated in the timezone your device is currently set to.
If you lost connection mid-solve, the result may not have been recorded. Check your puzzle history at Puzzles → My stats — if the puzzle isn't there, it didn't count.
