How do I invite a friend to play?

Send a private match invite by code or link on Endgame Society. Works for rated, unrated, and time-controlled games.

You can invite anyone to a private game — they don't need an account to view the invite link, but they will need to sign in to play.

1. Open Play vs friend. 2. Pick a time control. 3. Choose your color (or random). 4. Tap Create invite . 5. You'll get a 6-digit code and a shareable link .

- The link — they tap it, sign in (or sign up), and land directly in your game. - The 6-digit code — they enter it on /play/pvp under "Join with code".

The link preserves the invite through sign-in, so a brand-new friend can sign up and still drop straight into the game you created for them.

- The same board, synced in real time. - A clock per side. - A simple chat panel.

If either player leaves the page mid-game, the live session reconnects automatically when they come back — the clock continues running while they're gone.

The result is saved to both players' Game History. Either of you can replay it, share the PGN, or open it in Coach Dawn for analysis.

- How do I join a tournament? - What happens if I lose connection during a game?
